My Sustainable Forest project review meeting at the European Commission in Brussels
On May 3, the second review meeting of the My Sustainable Forest project took place in Research Executive Agency (REA) of the European Commission in Brussels, where the progress made so far is evaluated and reviewed in the 18th month, just at the halfway point of our H2020 research that began in October 2017.
At the meeting, European Comission’s project officer Iulia Simon and other evaluators were informed of the project work plan, objectives and deliverables to date. In addition, the consortium partners and the leaders of each work package detailed how all project resources have been planned to date in parallel with the progress achieved in this year and a half of the project. In this sense, following the objectives of efficiency and effectiveness, the project coordinator GMV, as well as other partners present at the meeting featured in their presentations the scientific, social, economic and competitive impact of My Sustainable Forest as well as the future steps to be followed and plans for dissemination of results.
My Sustainable Forest presented the European Commission observers with the progress of the H2020 project carried out over the last year and a half and developed by the consortium formed by GMV, RAIZ, FORA, CFRI, Madera Plus, CNPF, Mendel University, EFI and FOAL.
According to all participants in this second project review meeting, this was a fruitful opportunity for all members to discuss and review the contents and status of the project jointly between the WP leaders such as GMV, RAIZ, Foresna, CFRI and EFI and the evaluators of the European Commission.
Finally, the feedback and impressions received were very positive and the evaluators were impressed by the progress achieved, the efficiency demonstrated so far and the product services developed, among many other aspects within the project.
